THE REPLAY GALLERY
APPLE MUSIC
EXPERIENTIAL
Apple Music Replay usually lives on a screen as a personal recap. The Replay Gallery treated it as something bigger, a portrait of the year in music shaped by culture, memory, and identity.
For Miami Art Week, Replay was translated into a one-day-only exhibition at Superblue, where a year in music became a physical environment. Leading contemporary artists including Gabriel Moses, Henry Taylor, Jeremy Deller, and Devon Turnbull interpreted listening culture through visual and spatial work, exploring how music connects to geography, youth culture, and personal timelines.
The opening brought together artists, musicians, and tastemakers across music, art, and fashion for a private preview before opening to the public. Guests moved through the exhibition like a playlist, encountering moments of nostalgia, experimentation, and cultural reflection. Replay shifted from a data story into a shared cultural experience, turning individual listening habits into a collective memory of the year in music.
