Trail Tested, City Approved reintroduced Brooks’ reimagined Cascadia 1 by bringing its trail-proven performance into an urban context. Centered in New York City’s Brooklyn Bridge Park, the experiential activation invited outdoor enthusiasts and city dwellers to test the shoe in an unusual setting that blended nature and city life. The curated hike and forage session highlighted how the Cascadia’s updated cushioning, stability technology, and rugged build perform as well on concrete and sidewalks as they do on traditional trail terrain.
Led by naturalist Steve “Wildman” Brill, participants explored hidden pockets of green and urban wilderness, learning about edible plants and sustainable foraging while wearing the Cascadia 1. The experience reinforced the shoe’s versatility and versatility-forward design, translating Brooks’ trail heritage to everyday movement and curiosity in the city.
